Ethics Policy
Betsy Garman's experience as a researcher and editor has given her the opportunity to write and edit in the scientific and medical communities. Her experience includes protocols, grants, budgets, book chapters, journal articles, personal statements, admissions essays, and dissertations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in linguistics and a Master's degree in English, with a certificate in professional editing.
Betsy has edited in a variety of fields including health care, religion, politics, railroads and transportation, ethics, African studies, music, fiction, anthropology, genetics, ethics, neurology, oncology, psychology, biology, and law.
Her philosophy is that writing and editing are intertwined -- completely inseparable processes. Betsy's approach to editing is to take a closer look at your work with an objective eye -- filling in the gaps and polishing your efforts so that your hard work and dedication are rewarded.
